Welcome to the Suffolk Breakthrough Breast Cancer Group
Suffolk Breakthrough Breast Cancer was set up officially in January 2001 by five girlfriends (who had unofficially started fundraising for the charity in October 1999!).
Our dear friend Sally Balch, who had been diagnosed with breast cancer in December 1998, led the group and inspired us and hundreds more throughout Suffolk to raise all we could to help fund research into the disease. In October 2004, Sally lost her battle with breast cancer but her determination to fight for a future where breast cancer no longer threatens lives still lives on in the group today.
