The Idea

One person has a lunch party for six friends, they donate £5 each to Breakthrough; those six then host a lunch for five different friends and they each also donate £5; those five friends each hold lunch parties for four further friends & they too donate £5, those four friends do the same with three friends who do the same with two friends and finally the two friends ask one friend for lunch and the circle is complete.

How do we start?

There are no rules when ladies lunch! You can choose any level of the pyramid and start from there: inviting say 3 people and then they ask two friends each. And if you invite a group of friends/family for Sunday lunch and they don't want to take it any further that's fine. It's a good excuse to have a party while "Dishing it up" for Breakthrough!

Who can join in?

Everyone! (And what’s to stop a Mens Munch?) Imagine how many pyramids could be running across Suffolk - girlfriends, families, grandmas, schoolfriends - all united in the fight against breast cancer.

Whereabouts in Suffolk?

Across the county! We need pyramids to begin in Ipswich, to start over in Newmarket, around Sudbury, throughout Felixstowe and Bury and across to Woodbridge and up to Lowestoft!
